Skin contact: Dries (by defatting) the skin, and thereby erythema (reddening of the skin) and chapped skin can arise. Ingestion: Nausea, vomiting and severe diarrhoea (PIM 540). This compound has caused birth defects in two different animal species. Summary of known hazards and risks to the environment: The substance is harmful to aquatic organisms.
